This steam is then used for the generation of <strong>electricity<\/strong> to supply the population.\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4697\" src=\"https:\/\/www.setapht.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5675-1.jpeg\" alt=\"SETAPHT Water Treatment Plant\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/>\n\nThe system optimizes resource use through the reuse of pre-treatment water for steam condensation, with a flow rate of 110 m\u00b3\/h, and the internal treatment of rejects using <strong>Ultrafiltration, Nanofiltration, and Reverse Osmosis<\/strong> technologies, allowing for recirculation and significantly reducing discharges.\n\nThanks to this technology, the plant achieves an <strong>overall recovery rate of 90%<\/strong>, reinforcing its commitment to water efficiency and sustainability.\n\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-4699\" src=\"https:\/\/www.setapht.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/05\/IMG_5657.jpeg\" alt=\"Water treatment system at Edmonton EcoPark\" width=\"1000\" height=\"750\" \/>\n\nUpon completion of this project, the old Edmonton EcoPark plant, with over 50 years of operation, will be replaced by a modern <strong>Energy Recovery Facility (ERF)<\/strong>.
