SETA has successfully supplied and commissioned the ultrapure water production plant intended to feed the new steam turbogenerator unit and the corresponding water-steam cycle at the municipal waste-to-energy plant in Campdorà (Girona).
This plant is managed and operated by TRARGISA (Tractament de Residus i Aigües Residuals de Girona).
The ultrapure water generation plant, with a production capacity of up to 2 m3/h, combines various advanced treatment technologies, including two-stage reverse osmosis followed by electrodeionization. Thanks to this technological setup, an uninterrupted supply of purified water with the required quality is ensured.
One of the most remarkable aspects of this project is its compact and optimized design, which allowed the installation of the system in a standardized 40-foot container. This container has been properly conditioned to enable its complete and efficient operation from within.
With the completion of this project, SETA reaffirms its ability to deliver containerized solutions for ultrapure water generation, designing standardized and fully customized equipment according to the specific needs of each client, the characteristics of the feed water, and the required quality of the final product.
Our ultrapure water generation systems employ pioneering technologies such as ultrafiltration, reverse osmosis, and electrodeionization, ensuring high-purity water suitable for a wide range of applications. These include the pharmaceutical industry, food and beverage production, microelectronic component manufacturing, and feedwater supply for boilers in power plants, among many others.
